Cuba Baila! 2007 will be a celebration of original Cuban dance, music and culture in general.
This year we want to introduce the community of Vancouver to the style of the most popular party in Cuba - Carnaval. We would like to give you a little taste of the Cuban Carnaval. Hope you enjoy it.
Tickets for the Cuba Baila! 2007 event are now available online. Prices are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (CAD currency). To get yours, please click on the Tickets Tonight link.

April 21
We will be offering workshops of Cuban Salsa Casino style, Rumba, Guanguanco, Rueda de Casino, RuedaBachata and other Cuban styles of dances at the Scotia Bank Dance Centre during the morning and afternoon.

At 8:30 pm, we will open the doors at the Empire Landmark Hotel to celebrate Cuba Baila!, showcasing all the local and international dance companies in attendance. We will also be having an individual couples casino contest, subject to changes, together with a live music presentation and DJ. The party will be go until 2:00am.

April 22
We will be having more workshops throughout the day at the Scotia Bank Dance Centre.
At 8:30 pm, the doors will open at the Empire Landmark Hotel for the 4th Annual International Rueda de Casino Competition, Vancouver 2007.
At this moment, we know some participants will be coming the day before of the event, April 20. We are making arrangements to have a Welcome Party on April 20th, to warm up for the event and get all the visitors to Vancouver to mingle with the salsa community in town. It's going to be fun!!

We have a great arrangement with our sponsor hotel, The Holiday Inn Downtown Vancouver, where attendees usually stay. Arrangements for special rates for teams that will be in the competition are done directly through us (Dance Rueda Productions) and spectators also can get a special booking code to enjoy a discount rate of $89 CAD +tax for up to 4 people in the room.
